Angie McCoige, Manager
When designing your home, you have dreams to make your space fit your life. Angie has been with Home Specialties since 2011 and can help you talk through solutions to solve your problems while creating a beautiful space. She may even help you think through where to store Christmas decorations or install those needed outlets since she loves Christmas so much herself! Angie and her husband, Chad, have four children: Erica, Courtney, Cole, and Katie, whom they are proud to raise here in their hometown. She loves getting to know her customers and helping them create spaces that work for the way their families live. On weekends, Angie enjoys running in 5K races with her family and attending Manley Baptist Church.
Chad McCoige, Outside Sales
After seeing how his wife Angie enjoyed her work at Home Specialties, Chad came to join the team. He says a big part of his job is learning as building technology is constantly changing. Integrating new products and methods provides him great satisfaction for each completed project. Chad is passionate about improving the Lakeway community as you can see by how he spends his time. He’s the Chairman of the Hamblen County Health Council, on the Senior Citizen Center board, a founding member of Walk Across Hamblen/Healthy Hamblen, a member of the Regional Health Council, on the Parks and Recreation board, and founded the Lakeway Amputee Support Group.
Sabrina Cagle, Showroom Designer
With 30 years of experience in home improvement, Sabrina is a great asset to the team. She previously worked with Angie and Tracy and feels like she has come home. When a design challenge presents itself, Sabrina works with the team to brainstorm different products and applications to ensure the client receives the best solution. If you ever catch Sabrina daydreaming, she’s probably imagining her and her husband Johnny sitting on the beaches of Grand Turk, her favorite vacation spot. Sabrina and Johnny live in Russellville in her family’s 1932 homeplace. Their son Jake is married and has two daughters.
Tracy Cowan, Cabinet Designer
When you love your job, time flies. Tracy joined the Home Specialties team in 2012 and has enjoyed every moment working there. She enjoys collaborating with the team and helping customers’ design visions come to life. She and her husband, Mark, have two sons: Tyler and Lucas. Tracy and Mark have been promoted to grandparents and take great pleasure in spoiling their grandson Daxton, cherishing the time they spend together. Depending on the season, the Cowan family can be found cheering on Lucas as he plays baseball for West High, enjoying the waves at the beach, fishing so that Mark can grill up some dinner, or catching some sun by the pool. They are active members of Manley Baptist Church.
Phil Wisehart, Delivery
As a delivery man, Phil feels like he has a role similar to Santa Claus as he gets to bring people new “stuff.” He enjoys getting to meet new customers and seeing the progress on their projects. He enjoys seeing the finished results and being a small part of helping customers bring their projects to life. In addition to sharing sports stories of his children, Phil loves to talk about his beloved Indiana Hoosier basketball team and the Dallas Cowboys. Whether he is talking about his children’s sports or cheering on his favorite teams, Phil always has a good sports story to share. In between sports seasons, Phil has been hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail with a final goal to hike the entire trail from Georgia to Maine.
Steve Prowell, Outside Sales
With 28 years of sales experience, Steve joined Home Specialties in 2025 and brings a wealth of knowledge to help clients find the right solutions for their projects. He enjoys building relationships with clients and making sure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. His experience has given him a strong understanding of listening to customers and helping them find solutions that fit their needs. Steve is a husband, father, and grandfather, and his family is his greatest pride. He values time with his family and the relationships he has built throughout his life. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys spending time with family and in his community.
