Hardwood flooring is one of the longest lasting, and easiest to care for, flooring choices you can make. Home Specialties offers both pre-finished and unfinished hardwood flooring in a wide range of thicknesses (3/8” to 3/4”), widths (2 ¼” and up), constructions (solid and engineered), styles (smooth, hand scraped, wire brushed), and colors (natural and stained). We carry a wide range of species from Oak, Maple, and Hickory to exotics such as Acacia, Brazilian Cherry and Tigerwood. We also carry bamboo and pine. Carpet is one of the softest, warmest, and most economical floor coverings. With many colors, textures, and patterns, it can be the basis for décor in the room. Home Specialties offers wall to wall carpet, carpet stair runners, and custom size rugs. Luxury vinyl tile is warmer and softer underfoot alternative to ceramic tile. Cork is one of the most environmentally responsible flooring choices, as it is made from the bark of the cork oak tree, without harming the tree, and grows back. Laminate comes in both wood and tile looks and is usually more scratch resistant than hardwood. Laminate is a snap together, floating product.
